How Is Our Dracula Treatment Done?
Dr. Satchi will apply a numbing cream to the skin to ensure that the client is comfortable. Then, the Microneedling treatment is performed, where tiny needles are used to facilitate the production of collagen and elastin, improving blood flow in the skin.
A small amount of your own blood is placed in a centrifuge machine, where it is spun to separate out red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and plasma. The platelets are then reintroduced to the plasma to create a gel called Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). PRP has the unique effect of stimulating regeneration, helping aging skin repair itself from within. The PRP is then applied back to the skin, resulting in glowing, smooth, and clear skin.
What Are the Benefits of Our Dracula Treatment?
Because the platelets are derived from your own blood, it is a natural and non-invasive solution for aging skin. The process is even less invasive than Botox. PRP is also beneficial for younger patients who want to clear acne scars and have a healthy glowing complexion.
Does it Hurt?
No. A numbing cream is applied and our patients say it’s a very comfortable treatment. The skin may appear pink for 12-24 hours. Makeup can be worn the next day.
How Many Treatments Do I Need?
Dr. Satchi recommends having 1 treatment followed by 2 additional Microneedling treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart. The positive benefits of PRP last for a year or more.
